Cloggie: booklog: Carry On, Jeeves
Carry On, Jeeves
P. G. Wodehouse
234 pages
First published in 1925

In the first story, Jeeves, as the backflap puts it, "shimmers into the world of the Woosters, takes on Bertie and carries on from here". The rest of the stories are all variations on the theme of the first, in which either Bertie is in a hole or one of his friends is, with Jeeves finding the solution for each and everyone of them. The last story is a departure from the norm, as it's narrated by Jeeves himself, instead of by Bertie.

After having read The Code of The Woosters, I wasn't sated of Wodehouse yet, so I read this collection in the space of a day, mostly on the tube and during lunch break. Like some overtly sweet candy, too much of this is neither good for you nor very appealing, but small doses every now and again are quite nice.
