Got Wood?
There are some who say that when Rush Limbaugh he was stopped after US customs found viagra in his luggage he was returning from a sex tour stag weekend in the Dominican Republic . Surely not!
“We prohibit prostitution. That’s a woman doing with her body whatever she wants, but it’s illegal. Why? It’s against the law. Some people favor the decriminalization of prostitution, even the full legalization of it, but as we say now, it’s illegal.”
Rush Limbaugh April 23 2003
I note he says illegal but he’s careful not to say wrong. Plenty of wriggle room with the fundies there.
Interestingly enough, the Dominican Republic is well-known for ‘guys weekends’:
Evidence of the sex trade is everywhere as men in shorts and sandals duck into rent-by-the-hour “love motels” with Dominican women in bright dresses.
“There is always a demand for sex,” said one Dominican prostitute as she lounged at one of the town’s waterfront bars. “Men will always pay for it, especially in here … where they can get anything they want at a discount.”
Indeed, the Dominican Republic is one of the biggest sex tourism destinations in the world, thanks in part to Internet sites that extol the country as a “single man’s paradise.”
One such internet site:
Dominican Personal Tours – 365 Days a Year
“Why compete with more single guys when you can have your own tour in Dominican Republic and meet 100’s of beautiful Dominican women, single Dominican women and see Dominican women photos..
If you are a normal man between 25-60, you will have no problem dating these Dominican ladies.
And if you’re a wingnut…?
You will accomplish more here in one week then in many years in the USA or Europe.
For the sake of all concerned I hope there were some condoms packed with those little blue pills, but somehow I doubt it:
LIMBAUGH: “The worst of all of this is the lie that condoms really protect against AIDS. The condom failure rate can be as high as 20 percent. Would you get on a plane — or put your children on a plane — if one of five passengers would be killed on the flight? Well, the statistic holds for condoms, folks.” (Ought to Be, p. 135)
